Hello and welcome!!!!!! My name is Tamara and I’m glad you’re here 🙂
It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all of the conflicting information out there when it comes to health and fitness but I am here to help! Over the years I’ve learnt the best ways to train all fitness levels and how to prepare delicious but quick and nutritious meals because let’s face it – no one has any time these days! It’s important to set realistic goals that reflect your busy schedule otherwise like most other weight loss and health or fitness attempts, you will become too overwhelmed and it won’t be sustainable. That’s where my programs are different! But why should you trust me over all the other trainers and online fitness celebrities? I’M A REAL WOMAN! With real kids and hectic schedules. I’ve no doubt been where you are right now or have helped someone who has.
I was in the Australian Army for over 15 years and a lot of that time was as a Physical Training Instructor. This saw me responsible for the health, fitness and wellbeing of our soldiers ranging from beginner recruits all the way to our elite Special Forces.
The majority of time that I have spent in the fitness industry has been spent as a personal trainer. I have trained clients in everything from boot camps, Olympic lifting, strength and conditioning, kids fitness, group fitness, corporate training camps, kettle bell sessions, Crossfit – you name it! During my time as a Crossfit trainer, I was fortunate enough to work for Steve Willis AKA The Commando, who taught me invaluable tools to fine tune my trade.
I am also an extremely busy mum working fulltime in my local Emergency Department as a nurse, running my popular group fitness classes, one on one sessions and studying fulltime. It was through my total lack of time that I recognised the importance of having nutritional plans and workout routines that are quick, effective and easily incorporated into busy schedules!!
My family history of Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a topic that I am very passionate about. The rate of PCOS is rising steadily each year and I am dedicated to educating women on how they can manage their PCOS and reclaim their lives back! I have experienced PCOS first hand – including the weight gain and despair, and I am committed to supporting and educating women experiencing the condition, enabling them to rebalance their hormones and lives.
