There is no reason why you should miss out on the delicacies of life just because you eat clean!!! I refuse to miss out on delicious dishes! (Try saying that 5 times quickly!) It makes it easier to lead a clean healthy lifestyle when your not continually denying yourself anything that brings you joy. Why should your coke swilling, mars bar eating buddies get all the fun? Well not on my watch!
Hormonal balance is CRUCIAL for ALL aspects of health and wellbeing. Whether that means fat loss, a clearer mind, good skin, good immunity, muscle tone – anything. And it is a very delicate balancing act. The smallest thing can throw your hormones into chaos. The most common culprits are inactivity, over indulgence of high carb and processed foods, the pill or any other form of hormonal contraception, high levels of stress for long periods of time, not enough sleep, training too hard for an extended period of time and even eating a very low carbohydrate diet for an extended period of time. All hormones have individual roles to play and they must be perfectly balanced for optimal health.
